I had a rather disappointing experience during my stay. While the beach and surroundings were nice, the condo itself left much to be desired. There were numerous maintenance issues, and it felt quite neglected. The management's response to concerns was unsatisfactory, which added to my frustration. Overall, it wasn't a relaxing vacation as I had hoped.

Rooms
5.0
The condo felt old and lacked basic maintenance, with broken furniture and musty odors. It was also advertised as a rental with a hotel vibe, which was misleading.
Service
5.0
The management was less than helpful when addressing our concerns and seemed indifferent to the issues we encountered.
Location

The location near the beach was lovely, but the complex itself felt rundown and uninviting.

Facilities

Facilities appeared neglected with rusty outdoor furniture and unkempt common areas. It didn't create a welcoming atmosphere.

Sapphire Beach has beautiful views and a fantastic beach right at your doorstep, making it a wonderful getaway. The location is perfect for exploring nearby restaurants and activities, but the amenities have seen better days and could use some serious TLC. While we enjoyed our beachfront experience, it was disappointing to find the condo we stayed in not as clean as expected, and some aspects of maintenance were lacking.

Rooms
6.0
The unit we stayed in had a nostalgic 70s retro vibe but was in need of some updates. Although it wasn’t glamorous, the spacious layout and beachfront access really made up for it.
Service
5.0
We had mixed experiences with service. Communication with the property manager was slow, and while she did arrange a cleaner, the initial condition of the unit was unacceptable.
Location
9.0
The location is outstanding, with immediate beach access and close proximity to Red Hook for dining and excursions.
Dining
7.0
While we had the option for snacks and drinks at the beach bar, the overall dining experiences were limited and the beach bar closed early.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities need maintenance, especially the pool area and communal spaces, which showed signs of wear and damage from past storms.

We just wrapped up an amazing vacation in St. Thomas and I can't say enough good things about our stay! The condo we rented was clean, spacious, and right by the beach, which made it super convenient for our family. The views were breathtaking, and the beach was perfect for the kids. I did find a couple of minor hiccups here and there, but overall, this trip was incredible, and we can't wait to return.

Rooms

The condos were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, ideally suited for our family of 10. Having a full kitchen was a significant plus!

Norma, who helped us during our stay, was a real gem! She answered all our questions and made us feel welcomed.
Location

The location was fantastic! We were just a short drive to Red Hook, where we found great dining options and ferry access to St. John.
Dining

We enjoyed several meals at local favorites, with Duffy's Love Shack and Molly Malone's really standing out. Our breakfast and lunch at the condo were also delightful!
Facilities

The beach and pool facilities were well-maintained, adding to the enjoyment of our stay. The access to snorkeling trips was a bonus!

While the location is beautiful with stunning views and a nice beach, my experience at Sapphire Beach Resort left a bit to be desired. The condos are a mixed bag in terms of quality and cleanliness, but there are definitely some gems. The overall amenities are decent, yet could use some improvements. The dining options are limited and rather pricey, which detracts from the overall value for money.

Rooms
6.0
Our room was spacious and had a lovely view of the harbor, but the furnishings felt dated and could really use a refresh. Not the luxurious touch we expected.
Service
5.0
The service was adequate but not particularly remarkable. We did encounter some issues with smoking in common areas, which detracted from our comfort.
Location
9.0
The resort's location is fantastic, right on the beach and close to Red Hook, which offers great dining and a ferry to St John. I loved waking up to such a picturesque view every day.
Dining
5.0
Dining options on-site were very limited and quite expensive. Without drinks, our meals hit around $100, which felt steep for what we received.
Facilities
5.0
The pool is nice, but the bar area next to it appeared abandoned and hasn't seen much care. It wasn't the vibrant spot I had hoped for.

Our stay at Sapphire Beach Resort was incredible! The beach access was unbeatable, and snorkeling right off the shore was a highlight of our trip. The unit we stayed in could use some updates, but we loved the retro vibe and the proximity to the beach. However, the beach did get quite crowded when cruise ships were in port, which was a bit disappointing.

Rooms
7.0
The unit we stayed in was simple and had a nostalgic 70s retro feel. It was clean but could definitely benefit from some updates.
Service
7.0
The overall service was good, with helpful staff available for any questions. However, some facilities, like the pool bar, need attention.
Location
9.0
The resort is perfectly located right on the beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful views and quick access to nearby restaurants and Red Hook.
Dining
6.0
Dining options at the beach bar were decent for quick snacks and drinks but closed early at 6 PM, which was a letdown.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities include a nice pool and beach area, but the beach can get busy with cruise excursions, and some areas still show hurricane damage.
